Liquid Paraffin is a highly purified mixture of liquid saturated hydrocarbons, obtained from petroleum and are highly paraffinic in nature. This viscous oily liquid is transparent, colourless, tasteless & odourless when cold & exhibits slight fluorescence in daylight. These hydro-treated oils, though less refined than the pharmaceutical grade liquid paraffin, have excellent thermal & chemical stability having high flash points.
